Solef® 80 000 Series Expanded PVDF is molded into complex three-dimensional shapes much like injection molded parts. The molding technology allows for extremely complex systems to be molded in one shot using aluminium tooling for cost effective manufacture.
Solef® 80 000 Series Expanded PVDF for foam retains the same performance properties of typical PVDF such as fire, chemical and UV resistance, thermal stability and purity.
The novel expanded PVDF also imparts new characteristics previously unobtainable, like thermal insulation, light weight and resilience.
Solef® 80 000 Series Expanded PVDF is ideally suited for pipe, pump, ducts or manifold insulation.
Thanks to the inherent advantages of a high performance fire-retardant, chemically resistant, UV resistant, high-purity and lightweight insulating foam - a complex pipe system, or pump housing for example can be easily and efficiently insulated and simply maintained.
Solef® 80 000 Series Expanded PVDF is ideally suited for the production of seating or other applications where gently yielding surfaces or structures are required.
Thanks to the inherent advantages of a high performance fire-retardant, lightweight and resilient foam, complex non-load bearing structures can be manufactured.
